Bolivia and ACISA have resumed talks
On March 24, 2025, the Ministry of Energy of the Bolivian government under President Luis Arce and ACI Systems Alemania GmbH (ACISA) resumed talks on lithium extraction and industrialization at Salar de Uyuni. The aim is to revitalize the joint venture established on December 12, 2018.
Update: the agreement is being finalised with the Paz administration (September 2026)
